Beschreibung

Tangenten is a commissioned composition of the KunstKulturKirche Allerheiligen, Frankfurt am Main. The stereo feed is an interpretation of the choral piece (except for the last bar) by synthetic sound generation. During the performance, it is to be interpreted by the sound director in such a way that it moves dynamically sometimes in the foreground and sometimes in the background. Thereby it “touches” the choral sound again and again, so that it is temporarily impossible to distinguish between the two. Ad libitum the piece may also be performed as a choral version (without electronics).
